Can I exchange my Jute shopping bag if I change of mind?
Of course you can, but in the interest of keeping our carbon footprint low we encourage you to be really sure about the print and style of jute bag you are buying.
Don’t worry! We will not guilt you when you ask to swap out one of our jute shopping bags, & having all things considered we will happily exchange for a different style or print of jute shopper. Please contact us within 7 days to organise the return authority.
Returned products must be unused & in original condition, or we may refuse your request.
Unfortunately, we won’t be paying for your change of mind postage cost, but we have paid for your re-usable packaging.

How do I return a faulty item?
In the unlikely event that you receive a faulty jute shopping bag, contact us within 7 days to arrange your replacement or refund. We will more than likely request a picture of the fault. This is so that we can continually improve our design and functionality.
We send all our Jute shopping bags in re-usable packaging, so all you need to do is pop it in the same bag it was sent to you in and return to:

Jute & Sustainability
Is your postage packaging as sustainable as your bags?
Abso-fricken-lutely. Our postage packaging is made from eco-friendly compostable material with an extra adhesive strip for re-use. Once the bags have been out-used, put them in the compost bin.
Why Jute?
Where do we begin.. Jute is long life, sustainable and biodegradable.
As far as natural fibre goes, it is pretty amazing – it breathes, is sustainable, dries quickly and isn’t expensive! That’s probably too much excitement for a plant vegetable, but it isn’t known as the ‘Golden Fibre’ for nothing!
Jute does not require chemical pesticides in order to grow and thrive (that alone is a good reason to invest in a Cutie Jutie shopping bag!), it uses less water than Cotton crops and replenishes within 4-6 months.
Jute would have to be one of the most ecological materials on Earth.
How are we different from other Sustainable Jute bag companies?
Cutie Jutie jute shopping bags are printed digitally, not by traditional jute textile printing methods. This means we can use any digital print we want. Traditionally, Jute bags are printed by screen with a general limit of 4 colours, using toxic chemical dyes which result in environmental waste product.
Digital printing creates less waste product, meaning there is no water waste or noxious chemicals released into our atmosphere. Digital printing offers an efficient and environmentally friendly option of applying the colours and patterns we choose for our jute shopping bags. As at 2018, 40 billion litres of water were saved worldwide by printing digitally on textiles. That alone is worth the investment!
